A successful peach harvest was the stuff dreams were made of. No one spent more time picking Village Orchard Golden Queens than our Golden Queen Jenny. With the tiniest bit of bad weather often spelling disaster for stone-fruit, it meant that once they were ripe they had to be picked at pace. She knew this all too well and would dig it in from dawn to dusk to get them off.

Our certified organic Pinot Gris was grown by the amazing team at Osawa Vineyard in Mangatahi. A 10% portion was fermented in neutral oak (older barrels that don’t impart oaky flavours) to add a subtle touch of depth. This wine is perfect for enjoying year round.
